About

On July 21, a full room in Anchorage spent two hours on one question: What is AI doing to me, my kids, and my community? They finished the night by naming where Alaska should start, and the answer was education and access.

Teams on August 4 will build things that help Alaskans learn this technology, teach it, and think clearly around it: for parents figuring out what to tell their kids, for teachers and school staff, and for anyone who wants to use these tools well and understand what's behind them. What gets built is up to the teams.

You don't need to be a developer. Claude Code does the heavy lifting, and every team needs people who know the problem, know how things actually work here, and ask good questions. We'll form teams ahead of time and send you your team and table number before the day. We're also keeping you fed with some local favorites: lunch from Sweet Caribou, a Wild Scoops ice cream break, Moose's Tooth pizza for dinner, and good local coffee going all day. The day: 12:00 Doors. Grab lunch, find your table, set up 12:30 Welcome and the brief 12:45 Meet your team 1:00 to 5:45 Build 3:30 Wild Scoops ice cream break 5:30 Moose's Tooth pizza dinner. Guests arrive 6:00 Demos 7:30 End Bring a laptop and charger. If you have an Ethernet cable, bring it, wired internet will be available. Can't take the whole day? Grab a Guest ticket and come at 5:30 for dinner and demos. We hope to see you there!
