About
Grok Bot Meetup Joburg: Welcome to the Agentic Workplace Who it's for: Knowledge workers of every kind, including PMs, designers, marketers, analysts, consultants, founders, and engineers. You don't need to know how to code.
What it's about: AI is moving past chatbots that answer questions. Agents can now take a task and do it: Research a market, build a deck, triage an inbox, or run a weekly report on a schedule. This evening introduces Grok Bot, an AI assistant built for everyday knowledge work, and shows what it looks like to hand real work to an agent. Run of show 17:15 Arrival, registration, and drinks 17:40 Welcome and a short talk on what "agentic" means and why it matters for work in South Africa 17:55 Live demo of Grok Bot doing real knowledge work: research, drafting, and a recurring routine 18:20 Hands-on session where attendees set up their own bot and give it a task from their week 18:50 Q&A, show-and-tell, and credits handed out in person 19:15 Networking and closing What attendees leave with: a working Grok bot, a few tasks they've already handed off to it, and credits to keep going.
